Why EverySlot Exists

EverySlot is the brainchild of people who don't like dropping balls and forgetting things. We work in the ministry and in the nonprofit world, where budgets are thin, the help is all volunteers, and the tools that promise to organize it either cost too much or only do one thing. We are tired of relying on a sign-up here, a spreadsheet there, and a group text elsewhere to hold it all together.

We're also parents of busy kids, juggling the classroom volunteering, the team snack list, and the meal reservations, the party RSVPs, all in different places with none of them talking to each other. We need it all in one place, and it needs to be fast and easy to use. Connecting to our calendars automatically is even better.

So we built the thing we wanted: one list of every slot you've claimed, across every group you're part of. Organizers set it up once and see it fill live. Families can sign up their whole household without extra accounts, but if they want multiple accounts they can easily be linked to one another. When the calendar is double booked, you offer your slot to someone else instead of quietly disappearing from it. And, if you really want a slot someone else has, put your name on the wait list to be added and notified when it opens up.

We also took it a step farther. We want our kids safe and yours, too. KidSlots checks children in and out at the nursery, classroom or team practice, with allergy flags, approved pickup people, and a family pickup code. And when one family is going through it — a new baby, a funeral, someone home from hospital — CareSlots runs the meals: you set the dates and what to cook, helpers pick a day, and the family's address stays private until somebody takes one.

It's built to stay affordable for small churches, schools and nonprofits. We make it free to start, with size-based discounts so a church of sixty never pays like a church of six hundred. No one ever has to join EverySlot in order to reserve a slot, either. It's built to be user-friendly, kid and vulnerable adult safe, and affordable for everyone.
