How EverySlot works

From the link somebody sends you to the slot you fulfill.

The basics

Three Frequently Used Words

Group

The church, school, team or organization you're organizing for.

For example: New Hope Church

Sheet

One signup: a volunteer list, a potluck, a meal, a poll, or a set of times.

For example: Team Meals for September

Slot

A single thing on a sheet that one person takes.

For example: 9:00 am nursery, one helper needed

  1. 1

    Someone Shares a Link

A Leader makes a sheet and sends the link by group text, a bulletin, or an email. Anyone can open it and look at what's needed. No account required just to see it.

  2. 2

    You Sign in Once

Signing in ties the slots you take to you, so nobody has to guess who 'J. Smith' was. Every group that shares a sheet with you shows up in the same account. You only have to sign-in to EverySlot once, no matter how many groups you're part of.

  3. 3

You Sign Up for a Slot

A Saturday morning, a dish for the potluck, a meal on Sunday, a time for a meeting, an answer to a question. Whatever the sheet asks for, you tap it and sign up. Full ones show as full, so nobody double-books.

  4. 4

    Everything Lands on MySlots

Your home page holds every slot you've signed up for, for yourself or your family, across every group, in one list. We also have a calendar view, if you'd rather see the week laid out. Directions, notes, and what you answered are all there. When you've done what you signed up for, mark it fulfilled so you and the organizer both know it's taken care of.

  5. 5

Something came up? Offer it on.

Instead of quietly disappearing, you offer your slot back. Whoever picks it up takes it over, and the organizer sees the change without chasing anyone down.

Make the Sheet Exactly What You Need it to Be

Pick the kind of sheet you need, add your dates and slots, repeat them across a whole year in one go if it's a rota then share the link. You'll see who's signed up, who's fulfilled, who's missing, and who swapped, without a single "did you get my text?"
